1 - An intrazonal group of soils, developed by intensive leaching of solonetz, having a thin surface layer of brown friable soil above a grey- leached horizon which rests upon a brown or dark-brown horizon. The formation of solodi from solonetz is termed `solodization` or `solotization`. 2 - See 2159.
